Ali MacGraw
Ali MacGraw, also known as Elizabeth Alice MacGraw, is an American designer and author who has been awarded numerous prizes for her writing and design. She is a proponent of animal rights. Her movies comprise Love Story (1970), Goodbye Columbus ( 1969) and The Getaway ( 1972). Her desire to be an artist was inspired by her upbringing within the New York family of artists. Her first job was as an assistant to photographers. She then moved on to modeling and acting. Her name was highlighted in two of her films and was awarded the Golden Globe Award for Most Promising newcomer. MacGraw's movie Love Story proved a major success and earned her international fame as well as the Academy Award' nomination and an Academy Award nomination and a Golden Globe award. The film was recognized as the most successful box office star in the world after only three movies. Her footprints, handwritten in 1972 as well as her signature were inscribed at Grauman's Chinese Theater. Some of the films she's been in include The Getaway Convoy Players as well as the TV miniseries The Winds of War. Moving Pictures, a 1991 autobiography of hers, was published. MacGraw got married to three different people.
