Zoe-perry
Perry is born July 25, 1968 in Chicago in Illinois. She was the daughter of Laurie Metcalf Perry and Jeff Perry. Her first roles on television included two roles in the role of Jackie Harris (as seen in flashback) in her role on the ABC sitcom Roseanne, the character portrayed by her mother. Her parents, however, did not allow her to act until she reached the age of adulthood, for fear of the negative effects that stress could be able to have on their daughter. Perry, who was too shy for acting in school, began to perform at Northwestern University because she wanted to make new acquaintances. Perry, after graduating from Boston University moved to New York in search of TV roles. Her small part was in shows like Law & Order: Criminal Intent. But, her home-sickness drove her to California to find theater work. She appeared on Broadway with her mother in The Other Place with her mother in the year 2013. In 2015, she appeared together with Kevin McKidd alongside her mother in Eugene O'Neill's Pulitzer-winning drama Anna Christie. Odyssey Theatre Ensemble Odyssey Theatre Ensemble is located in West Los Angeles. Perry played a part in nine episodes of ABC's thriller The Family during 2016. Perry was a regular character in the ABC political drama Scandal, starring her dad. Also, she was cast on the CBS sitcom The Big Bang Theory spinoff Young Sheldon as a version younger of Mary Cooper, Sheldon Cooper's mom. The role was offered to her in an audition that was open despite being connected to this character.
