Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise (born Tina Louise) is a American writer, performer and actor well-known for her character Ginger Grant in Gilligan's Island. She began acting as a stage artist during the 1950s starting by performing in Two's Company a musical by Bettle Davis. In the following years, she appeared in many Broadway productions before making it huge in the national theater scene with Li'l Abner's in 1957. She also released her first album, titled It's Time to Tina in the same year. Louise first appeared in Hollywood as Griselda Walden in God's Big Acre a 1957 drama film. This film became hugely popular and Louise got the Golden Globe Award at the New Star of the Award category. In this time she attended the Actors Studio of New York. Lee Strasberg was her tutor. Her next role that she played was Ginger Grant, which CBS was the first to sign her on to play in the year 1964. Louise continued to have a successful professional career that combines Broadway TV with Hollywood and portraying somber in contrast to the glamorous image that she was perceived. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. As SG-1, and in the role of Helen Magnus in Sanctuary although in the last few years she has also made her name as a successful director in several well-known television series such as Supernatural as well as The 100. She was born on 28 August 1965 in Essex. At the age of three, her family relocated her to Toronto in Canada where she spent throughout her early years. After being chosen for the role as Samantha Carter, she moved to Vancouver in 1997. She has lived there since.
