Pickler was raised in a difficult environment. As a young girl her mother fled to avoid an abusive situation. Pickler was brought back to the mother she had left in 1995 when she was appointed the custodian. However, it wasn't as planned. When she turned 12, the judge returned Pickler to her grandparents - who raised her to adulthood. Pickler with the help of her parents and her older siblings, became busy to have a family. According to her, because she had no time for study, she decided to master cooking and clean from a very early stage.
